What to consider when choosing a holiday park
When choosing the ideal lifestyle for you and your family, there are numerous things to consider.
To help guide you through your journey, we’ve narrowed down the top things we think are the most important to think about to ensure you have the best holiday park lifestyle.

Location
When selecting a holiday park, the park's location is key. Consider the distance from your home, ensuring ease of travel and frequent visits, and think about places that hold cherished holiday memories or somewhere you’ve always dreamed of living. Additionally, get an idea of what local attractions and amenities are on offer to ensure it provides everything you’re looking for. A well-chosen location sets the stage for a lifetime of unforgettable holidays.

Facilities
Some of our parks are located in peaceful, rural locations with very few built-up facilities – you may just have stunning landscapes on your doorstep, whereas other parks feature restaurants, swimming pools, entertainment venues and leisure facilities. Everyone is looking for something different, and the park you choose should match the needs of you and your family, and your idea of a perfect getaway, so make sure to do your research on what facilities our parks include.

Community
Holiday Park communities are a big part of the holiday home lifestyle. Whether it’s a friendly chat with your neighbours, or taking part in activities and social events, it’s great to find a park with a community of like-minded people. Make sure to ask our team about what events we run at each of our parks to find a community suited to you.

Is it dog-friendly?
We know many people see their four-legged friends as another member of the family, and we completely agree. That’s why if you are a pet owner, make sure that the holiday parks you are looking at are dog-friendly, with access to facilities, walking trails, water stations and treats to make sure they are welcomed on-park as part of the family. At Park Holidays UK and Park Leisure, every single one of our parks is dog-friendly.
Once you have considered what you need from your holiday park, make an appointment and visit the holiday parks you are interested in. This will help you find the right park and holiday home to suit your needs and your tastes, and at the same time, you can explore the local area surrounding the park. Our friendly team will be on hand to give you a guided tour of the park, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Holiday Home Ownership
Owning a caravan holiday home or lodge at one of our UK holiday parks gives you the freedom to enjoy a whole new leisure lifestyle, and holiday whenever you want.
