Holiday Parks in Suffolk
Suffolk is a beautiful county with fantastic countryside, a great coastline, plenty of places to visit, and a climate which offers some of the driest weather in England - a perfect location!
We have five fantastic caravan holiday parks in Suffolk. Starting furthest north, and located along the border with Norwich, is Broadland Sands Holiday Park - or head 20 minutes down the road to discover our brand new park, Pakefield Holiday Park. Lowestoft, the UK’s most easterly town, is located between the two.
The town has long been popular for family days out with an award winning theme park, beautiful beaches, a wide array of museums, two piers and a busy theatre, home to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
North of the parks you’ll find Great Yarmouth, with all sorts of attractions including seaside amusements, adventure golf, bowling alleys and a Sea Life Centre. There’s also hundreds of pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants as well as countless shops ranging from famous high street favourites to unique boutiques and independent stores.
Outdoor enthusiasts will fall in love with the Broads, with miles of incredible waterways to explore and an amazing array of rare wildlife to see. There’s plenty of activities too, including water cruises and boat tours where you can see the very best this magnificent region has to offer.
The parks are also lucky enough to be within easy driving of some fantastic golf courses including the challenging Rookery Park Golf Club, which is open all year round. Great Yarmouth Racecourse is nearby too, with regular race meetings and special events throughout the year.
Further south we have Carlton Meres Holiday Park at Saxmundham, a beautiful park set in a quiet area, with great access to Ipswich and the surrounding area. Look for memorable Suffolk days out at places like Adventure Island Play Park, Africa Alive Southwold Lighthouse, the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum, and slightly further away, Britannia Pier and Pleasurewood Hills.
Finally at Felixstowe we have two parks, Suffolk Sands and Felixstowe Beach Holiday. Affectionately known as the “Garden Resort of the East Coast”, Felixstowe is packed with things to see and do throughout the year; Orford Castle, Otley Hall and Gardens, Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club, and Easton Farm Park. It might have less activities on park but Suffolk Sands offers the same prime location (plus full use of facilities at Felixstowe Beach) with less noise and distractions. Our parks are just a short walk away from the Edwardian town where you’ll find a vibrant town centre and wonderful mix of attractions the whole family will enjoy.
