Safety and responsibilities
Our fishery team regularly patrols the lakes and will be happy to help with tickets and permits. You can buy tickets directly from them or from reception. As rules, pricing and facilities vary between parks, please check with your chosen holiday park before you fish.
If you're aged 16 or over, you'll need a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence. These can be purchased online or from most Post Office branches. You'll also need a landing net and an unhooking mat.
To protect our lakes and fish stocks, bait boats are not permitted. We have restrictions on certain particles and pre-baiting methods. Peanuts are strictly prohibited, while tiger nuts, Brazil nuts and other large particles may only be used in line with local fishery rules.
Our lakes are home to a wide variety of wildlife, so we ask all anglers to respect the environment. Please take all litter home with you and ensure no fishing line, hooks or tackle are left behind.
