Holiday Parks in Kent
Affectionately known as the “Garden of England” Kent features a coastline of famous holiday resorts. From Whitstable and the Isle of Sheppey in the north to Romney in the south, we've got Kent covered!
Kent is England’s oldest county and you can discover its exciting past. As we mentioned it's often described as the “Garden of England” with its leafy lanes, vineyards, orchards and lavender fields; it’s the perfect spot for your next adventure.
Westgate-on-Sea, the closest town to our Birchington Vale Holiday Park, is where you can enjoy fresh local delicacies from the sea in one of the many local restaurants and pubs or from the fish market at the harbour.
Slightly further afield you can find Margate, famous as a beautiful coastal resort with award winning beaches, world class art galleries and the ever popular Dreamland theme park.
Canterbury, accessible by a short drive from many of our Kent parks, is perfect for a family visit with its cobbled streets and stunning-looking architecture. Visit the shrine of Thomas Becket at Canterbury Cathedral (the oldest Cathedral in England fact fans), and be blown away by its ecclesiastical brilliance.
Canterbury also plays host to lots of special events, festivals and gigs throughout the holiday season including art exhibitions, live music and theatre productions - so you can create a few Canterbury tales of your very own!
Look out for bluebirds over the white cliffs of Dover - on bright days France can be seen clearly from here. Beautiful scenery is a staple of the Kent countryside, over a quarter of the county is made up of two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty: The High Weald and The North Downs.
There are so many brilliant visitor attractions to choose from in Kent; Howletts Zoo, The Hornby Visitors Centre, Leeds Castle, Quex Park and The Powell-Cotton Museum, Margate Tudor House, The Shell Grotto, Dickens World, Port Lympne Wildlife Park, Diggerland, Go Ape, and many more.
With so many attractions and activities to choose from, one family holiday may not be enough. Luckily we have great value caravan holiday breaks available from March to November, so take a look at our Kent holiday parks today.
And after that you might want to consider Kent holiday home ownership, which could mean unlimited holiday breaks throughout the season.
