Finding Love On Park – A True Story

We all long to find love in our lives, whether that’s in a job, partnership, having a pet or in many other ways. Mal and George were lucky enough to not only find love in owning a holiday home on their perfect park, Marlie in New Romney, Kent, but in doing so - they found each other.

Owning a holiday home for many is having somewhere to come back to time and time again, to make amazing memories and build special bonds with not only family and loved ones, but the friends made on park too.

"The community on park is very important"

Mal and George met each other whilst walking their dogs on park and have known each other for 4 years. The things they love most about owning a holiday home are the freedom, socialising and space.

Mal has been an owner on Marlie Holiday Park for 32 years and hasn’t looked back since. Mal and her late husband bought their first holiday home to have a peaceful place to come to after a busy week at work. After Mal’s husband sadly passed away, she didn’t think she would find love again, but along came George.

"Having known George for a few years as a friend, no way did I expect or imagine we would end up together. However, we couldn’t be happier"

We asked the couple what advice they would give to anyone looking to take the leap into the world of holiday home ownership.

"Take your time to choose the correct location and holiday home and check what facilities are available"

Holiday home ownership is for everyone, whether it be a family, a couple, or a single person looking to find new friends, but most importantly - a community to be a part of.

Owning a holiday home gives you the freedom to escape everyday life for a few days or even weeks at a time. Don’t waste those precious moments, invest in your leisure lifestyle and make memories and friendships for life.
