Di Pola’s – Hastings, Sussex

Di Pola’s is a small, family-run ice cream parlour based in Hastings, just set back a little from the seafront. They offer a large variety of flavours, often creating unusual flavours that fit in with current and seasonal trends (for the recent Royal Wedding, they copied the wedding cake flavours of lemon sponge with elderflower ice cream, topped with white chocolate shavings – yum!) Di Pola’s also offer hot and cold drinks, and other desserts such as waffles. So why not take a trip down in the seaside town of Hastings and give Di Pola’s a try?

The Ice Cream Parlour – Dawlish, Devon

If you’re visiting Dawlish, and love ice cream, you simply have to visit The Ice Cream Parlour. Offering almost 40 different flavours, 6 dairy free sorbets and various cones to choose from (including gluten free), you’ll be spoilt for choice! Sundae Sundae – Whitstable, Kent

Not only is this little treasure an ice cream parlour providing an amazing selection of English ice creams, lollies, chocolates and sweets, but, it also sells retro seaside vintage crockery and furniture, a range of buckets, spades and beach toys, so you can take something home to remember your holiday by the sea. Beach Diner – Clacton, Essex

Located right on the seafront, Beach Diner is the ideal spot to take a break from sunbathing and go and enjoy a well-deserved cool down. Offering 22 different flavours of the famous ‘Mr Whippy’ you may even find yourself popping back 2 or 3 times to this much-loved ice cream shop. A family-run business for over 80 years, you’ll feel a real sense of warmth and welcoming at the Beach Diner. Indulge Yourself – Christchurch, Dorset

Located in Christchurch, just 10 minutes away from our Sandhills holiday park, this little gem not only serves up ice cream, but plenty of other delicious desserts, too. The décor from outside to in is very ‘cutesy’ and the walls are filled with a mosaic of different coloured quotes, photos and clocks – perfect for that all important holiday Instagram photo (#weloveindulgeyourself). It definitely stands out next to the other shops on the street, so you can’t miss it!

The Songbird Ice Cream Café and Creative Space – Hampshire

This ice cream parlour really does go above and beyond being, well, an ice cream parlour. Not only do they create and sell fantastic, imaginative ice cream in all different flavours, they also have the most amazing looking cakes, milkshakes, hot drinks, AND they even cater for… wait for it… dogs! That’s right, dogs. They sell dog-friendly ice cream, and it seems to go down a storm. The Songbird Ice Cream Café and Creative Space is also just that, creative. They encourage creativity through providing colouring books and pens and selling local, small business’ stock.

The Little Ice Cream Company – Felixstowe, Suffolk

Gorgeous handmade artisan ice cream, The Little Ice Cream Company use fresh milk from Felixstowe’s dairy herd at Gulpher Farm to create their masterpieces. Fusciardi Ice Cream Parlour – Eastbourne, Sussex

Established in 1967, Fusciardi’s offer 16 different ice cream flavours as well as 14 varieties of sundaes. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can sit out in the sunshine and enjoy your favourite ice cream flavour! Stew N Drew's – Hopeman, Moray Firth, Scotland

Practically dreaming of the stuff in their sleep, founders Stew and Drew decided to make some ice cream of their own. The pair get their milk from a local farm and pasteurise it themselves, and together have created over 120 flavours in their repertoire, which means that for every traditional scoop there’s a boundary-pusher. And best of all, it's only a 6-minute drive from our Silver Sands Holiday Park along the beautiful Moray Firth coastline.
