Tripadvisor Certificate Winner 2017

Staff at Park Holidays UK have been given a big "thank you!" after their company went under the spotlight this summer following a raft of rave reviews on TripAdvisor.

The influential holiday website presented its prestigious Certificate of Excellence to a total of five Park Holidays UK parks which have become a smash hit with guests. TripAdvisor's "excellence" accolades are handed out only to holiday firms which attract an exceptional number of glowing reviews and maximum satisfaction scores. Whilst all of the 27 parks operated by the group regularly receive positive feedback from holiday guests, five have now attained the "outstanding" grade. They are Winchelsea Sands park and Rye Harbour park in East Sussex; Seaview park in Whitstable, Kent; Sandhills park in Christchurch, Dorset, and Solent Breezes park in Warsash, Hampshire.

Park Holidays UK director Tony Clish said that TripAdvisor's Certificates of Excellent are regarded as an important marker of performance in the tourism industry:"Reviews left by customers are especially valuable because they focus on those aspects of the holiday which guests feel matter most to them," said Tony. "So whilst we are delighted to see our accommodation, entertainment and leisure facilities praised by holiday guests, their comments don't concentrate just on these. "What also seems to leave a lasting impression with many guests is the high standards of service that are provided by our staff, and their friendly, helpful attitude. "This is especially pleasing to us because we want people to remember not just what they did at our parks, but also the warmth of the atmosphere and the hospitality they enjoyed. "That's why we have sent out a message of congratulations to all our staff members, because it is they who are making excellence the hallmark of our parks," added Tony.

Earlier this summer, Park Holidays UK announced its acquisition of Carlton Meres Country Park in Suffolk, based just ten miles inland from the picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh. The park, which boasts fishing lakes and a tranquil location, already draws many positive reviews which the company says it is now determined to build upon.
