Eastbourne International Airshow: the award-winning Airbourne celebrates 28 years of Airshow excellence in 2020. Attracting huge crowds, Eastbourne's International Airshow boasts a 2 mile flying display line along Eastbourne seafront.

Brighton Pride: a dazzling event that takes place in Preston Park! This bubbly street festival has been described by The Guardian newspaper as ‘the country’s most popular LGBT+ event’.

The Festival of Speed: the largest motoring garden party in the world, held at Goodwood House, Chichester – a unique summer weekend that brings together an impossibly heady mix of cars, stars and motor sport ‘royalty’ to create the largest car culture event in the world.

1066 History

Sussex is home to plenty of history, and probably known most prominently for ‘The Battle of Hastings’. The battle took place here in October 1066, funnily enough not actually in Hastings, but on a little inland in Battle. With other historic landmarks such as The Long Man of Wilmington, Pevensey Castle, Arundel Castle, Anne of Cleves House, and Michelham Priory - there’s plenty of historic buildings and landscapes to explore.

‘Sunshine Coast’ – Weather

Within the county of Sussex, Eastbourne is famously known as the ‘Sunshine Coast’. Year on year Eastbourne has been top area in the UK for the most sunshine hours per day. Who doesn’t love sunny, warm weather when on holiday? Amazing Sussex coastline

From sandy beaches to pebbly rock pools, there are a huge variety of Sussex beaches (many awarded Blue Flag status) to choose from, with something for everyone. What is truly better than being beside the seaside? In our opinion, nothing! Enjoy a meander along the promenade, a dip in the briny and perhaps a yummy ice-cream or bag of chips!

Sussex Countryside and Wildlife

Sussex really does have the best of both worlds, not only do you have the coastline on your doorstep, you also have vast countryside landscapes chock full of amazing of fauna and flora. Ideal for leisurely walks or adventurous days out.

Close to cities/towns

The county of Sussex is home to an array of quaint, vibrant and quirky towns. Hastings and Rye are known for independently owned shops, boutiques and cafes, not too far from four of our conveniently located Sussex Holiday Parks.

Brighton & Hove is located in-between two of our Sussex Holiday Parks and is known for The Royal Pavilion, The Lanes and an abundance of stores and shops. Making Brighton a lively day out for all the family!

Not forgetting the newly improved Eastbourne Town Centre, now known as ‘The Beacon’ Centre. This new shopping centre has a vast selection of top brand names including Marks & Spencer, Jack Wills, River Island, H&M and more. It's also got a huge cinema and a Nandos if you're feeling peckish.
