What was new in 2023?

There was lots happening at Waterside in 2023 with the completion of our exciting new venue visitors have everything they need to make the most of their time in Devon.

Brand-new venue with indoor pool, jet pool, bar & restaurant

Visitors to Waterside can now enjoy our brand-new indoor swimming pool and jet pool, along with the revamped bar and restaurant offering a cosy environment to spend time with family and friends whilst enjoying great food and drink. During the summer, the raised outdoor terrace is the place to be for al fresco dining whilst soaking up the scenic views of the bay. That’s not all, the reception area, shop, and sales office also underwent a fresh transformation to improve the overall arrival experience of our guests.

New holiday apartments in Devon

In 2023 we also introduced two new, 2-bedroom premium holiday apartments to our accommodation offering. Lovingly converted from the ‘Smugglers Bar’ to fresh and modern spaces with equipped kitchens, comfortable bedrooms, and their own patios making them the perfect option for families looking to spend some quality time together.

Along with the glorious local area that North Devon has to offer, there is now even more reason to spend your leisure time at Hedley Wood. To further enhance our owners' and guests' experience here, for 2023 we opened an impressive new leisure venue filled with great facilities for all to enjoy.

In 2023, The Clubhouse underwent some very exciting refurbishments, including an inviting new exterior, and a stunning makeover of the inside. With new zoned areas, visitors to the restaurant can unwind with a quiet drink, tuck into a delicious meal, or grab a slice of freshly made pizza from our new oven. When you've satisfied your appetite, why not stay for some great evening entertainment including live music, games, quizzes and more.

After a refurbishment of the bar and restaurant in 2022, holiday home owners and guests were thrilled at the introduction of our new leisure facilities in 2023.

Holiday home owners at Bowland Fell were thrilled with the transformation of the restaurant, while holidaymakers loveed our luxury apartments offering a great base to rest and relax after a day spent exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

For great food and drink in the Yorkshire Dales, you don’t need to go far. The Crowtree Inn is a popular spot on the park for meeting up with friends, and enjoying a family meal together, so for 2023, we gave it a brand-new look. Ensuring the original character of the building was preserved, we carefully created a fresh-new environment that people love to visit. During the summer, visitors may also choose to sit on the new outdoor terrace and take in the fresh countryside air and views of the park.

New-look holiday apartments in the Yorkshire Dales

For a relaxing holiday in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, look no further than our 4 revamped holiday apartments. Each has a bright and charming interior with a brand-new kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and modern bathroom, along with dog-friendly options available too. Revamped holiday chalets in Cornwall

Our popular holiday chalets provide a comfortable, self-contained space for our guests to enjoy a holiday break in Cornwall. With open-plan living areas, well-equipped kitchens, 2 or 3 bedrooms, and dog-friendly options, they have everything you need.

To further enhance your stay at Bodmin, for 2023 we refreshed the interiors of a selection of our chalets including new floors and soft furnishings giving them a fresh new look. Holiday guests at Bodmin can make full-use of our on-park facilities including the welcoming Waterway Café, fishing lakes, sports courts and indoor swimming pool, which for 2023 underwent a full refurbishment. Whether you fancy doing a few lengths, or a fun swim with the whole family, come rain or shine the pool is waiting. Our changing rooms also underwent full refurbishment for your convenience.

Following on from a well-received refurbishment of the clubhouse, bar, entertainment area, shop and sales office, in 2023 we completed an exciting new project at Hengar Manor.

As well as our fantastic seasonal menu serving a selection of tasty dishes throughout the day, visitors can also enjoy our new pizza oven serving fresh, handmade rustic Italian pizzas with a choice of toppings. As part of the revamp, the entertainment space was given a new look too and is now ready and waiting for you to enjoy a host of live acts from the stage including singing, dancing, bingo and more.
