Coarse & Sea Angling
Whatever type of fishing you're looking for, we've got it covered!
Park Holidays UK have Caravan Holiday Parks across the South of England set in counties including Devon, Essex, Dorset, Kent, Hampshire, Suffolk and Sussex.
Many are set in beautiful locations close to the sea so sea fishing is available immediately from the edge of the park or nearby. In addition, many holiday parks have carp and coarse fishing either in lakes on the park, or rivers or lakes in the local area.
Some of our holiday parks have carp fishing lakes - with carp to well over 40lbs in one case. Others offer general coarse fishing, with occasional matches for you to test your skills.
We have five South Devon Caravan Holiday Parks all close to the beaches for great sea fishing. Choose from Landscove & Riviera Bay, in Brixham, Waterside at Paignton or Golden Sands and Dawlish Sands at Dawlish Warren.
The South Devon coast offers good sea fishing for bass, mackerel, wrasse and other fish. The estuaries are great for mullet fishing - something coarse anglers often want to try out on a seaside holiday. If you want coarse fishing, Golden Sands has a small lake with carp, tench, roach, rudd and crucian carp. Or you could choose from other Devon carp and coarse fisheries across the county.
Sandhills Holiday Park, Christchurch, Dorset lies next to Mudeford Quay by the Christchurch Harbour, with Avon Beach to the front - quite a setting! There's sea fishing from the front of the park, and harbour fishing for mullet and bass from the back.
Chichester Lakeside is one of our favourite fishing parks with anglers coming from across the country to experience the lakes. Chichester Lakeside is surrounded by a total of 10 Lakes ranging from 2 acres to 28 acres featuring Carp, Tench, and silver fish.
Coghurst Hall is a beautiful fishing setting in a hidden valley just outside Hastings. The large lake has a good stock of carp to 20lbs plus roach, rudd, tench, and bream. There is also a small lake ideal for juniors to learn to fish for smaller carp and other coarse fish.
Rye Harbour Holiday Park is just a short distance away (just over 10 miles) from Rye Nook Fishery and covers 100 acres of still water gravel lakes well stocked with roach, rudd, catfish, carp, trout, tench, dace, perch and bream. Ticket Prices apply and are available direct from Rye Nook Fishery.
Oaklands Holiday Park, near Clacton, offers carp and other coarse fishing, including tench, roach, bream, perch and rudd in our very own lake on park. Plus it's very close to the estuary and sea fishing at St Osyth.
St Osyth Beach, Martello Beach & Seawick, again near Clacton, offer the best of both worlds, sea and coarse fishing! There's direct access to the shore for beach fishing with boat launching facilities from a slipway, plus a small coarse fishing lake at St Osyth Beach. A great place for anglers of all ages, but especially suited to beginners, with plenty of rudd, roach, tench, carp up to 10lb and perch.
Steeple Bay near Southminster in Essex is an idyllic setting on the River Blackwater estuary. With beach fishing (plus our very own slipway) its ideal for sea fishing. We also have a small, but attractive lake with plenty of small carp, roach, rudd, tench and bream - enjoy great family friendly fishing on the doorstep of your Essex caravan holiday home.
Our Felixstowe Beach and Suffolk Sands Holiday Parks in Felixstowe are close to some great beach and pier fishing. There's coarse fishing in the Rivers Stour, Orwell and Deben nearby plus many other Suffolk carp and coarse fishing locations. Carlton Meres also has two fishing lakes onsite.
In South Kent we have New Beach and Marlie, which are also close to the Royal Military Canal which has a good stock of bream, tench, carp and roach in particular. Whatever type of fishing holiday in Kent you are looking for, there is sure to be something suitable.
