Dorset Caravan Holidays & Short Breaks

Dorset is at the heart of the south coast, with Bournemouth its most famous resort. Enjoy great sandy beaches and lots of things to do in the area. Christchurch lies between Bournemouth and the New Forest - here you will find our Sandhills holiday park, overlooking the beach and Mudeford Quay.

We have holiday parks all along the southern coast of England and if you're looking for holiday parks in Dorset then we have the perfect option for you. Our Sandhills park is the perfect spot to head to for caravan holidays in Dorset, with loads to get up to at the park itself and plenty of great attractions and destinations within easy reach.

The park itself is on the sea front, offering you a chance to head down to the water and take advantage of Dorset's clean sea. You can also spend some time on our sun terrace, soaking up the rays and basking in the warmth. It already sounds like a great holiday and we haven't even ventured into the surrounding areas. As an additional feather in its cap, Sandhills sees more returning visitors than any of our other parks, and if you do decide to have your holiday here, you'll definitely see why.

Our holiday park in Dorset is just a short distance from Bournemouth, which has enough going on to fill up an entire holiday by itself. You can visit the gardens, take advantage of the modern shopping districts or step back in time on the historic piers. You'll also find loads of great places to eat in case you'd like to partake of some fine dining during your holiday. Bournemouth is also the place to head if you want to experience some nightlife.

Staying in Dorset caravan parks also means you have access to the New Forest, which is full of unfenced pasture land, heathland and, of course, forests. There are some amazing walking, cycling and riding opportunities there, as well as beautiful sights to see and lots of different places to explore. A day spent in the forest is a popular choice for visitors to Dorset holiday parks. It really allows people to get away into an almost untouched area of land, totally different to any of the other natural landscapes that still remain in the UK.

Christchurch isn't far from us either, and you'll find that it makes for a great day out. The town's harbour is huge and quite a spectacular sight, but it's the nature reserves, beaches and historical buildings that really draw in visitors year after year. Walking around Christchurch, you can see buildings that date back to the 11th century, including Christchurch Castle, which dates from the Norman era, and Christchurch Priory, which was built as a monastery in the 11th century. There's also Highcliffe Castle, an incredible mansion with amazing grounds that was built between 1831 and 1835. The town's annual food and wine festival and music festival are also big hits.

With so much to do just waiting on the doorstep of holiday parks in Dorset, it's no wonder that this is one of our most enduring caravan parks. Not only do you have a fantastic beach within easy reach of the park itself, but a short drive will take you to busy, urban Bournemouth, or the quiet, idyllic New Forest, or to impressive, historic Christchurch. There's something for everybody in Dorset, and you can enjoy it all, and more, by staying with us in our Dorset caravan parks.

Ideally situated on the beach, Sandhills can offer any family a fun filled caravan break
