Clifftop Walks
With breathtaking views as far as the eye can see, whatever the season, there are several routes to choose from around Polperro. One of the most stunning in the area is the 5-mile coastal path from Polperro to Looe, via the stunning Talland Bay - offering dramatic views out to sea and plenty of opportunities to grab a photo or two!
Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling & Fishing
Polperro is packed with history, including great tales of smuggling and fishing – so why not take a trip to the Polperro Heritage Museum, which is home to a fascinating collection of photographs and memorabilia depicting this Cornish village’s extraordinary history and many of the people who featured in it?
The Beaches
Polperro is situated close to many family-friendly beaches, with its very own just outside the harbour wall (visit at low tide). Just a short, 10-minute drive away, you could venture to the beautiful and quiet dog-friendly beach in Lansallos, or turn right and visit the well-renowned beach with golden sands at East Looe Beach, only 11 minutes away – there really is something for everyone.
Polperro Model Village
Families have been enjoying the delights of the Polperro Model Village and Land of Legend for over 60 years – discover the village of Polperro in miniature and learn about the Cornish myths and legends surrounding this spectacular town.
Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary
In nearby Looe, take a small detour to The Monkey Sanctuary and explore this stunning, nine-acre attraction with gardens - a safe haven for 40 monkeys rescued from situations of abuse and neglect, each with their distinct characters and personalities.
Tidal Bathing Pool
One not to be missed, the small south-facing natural pool basks in sunshine beneath the picturesque cliffs of Polperro. Although man-made, it has been described as a giant rock pool, so make sure you bring your buckets and nets, and you could find seaweed, starfish and crabs sharing your swim!

Restormel Castle
Take a short, 30-minute car drive and discover one of the most remarkable castles in the UK. Restormel Castle’s 13th century circular structure offers 360-degree views across the valley of the River Fowey, and is a favourite picnic spot for couples and families alike.
Eden Project
A day at Eden is a real adventure. Less than 35 minutes from Polperro Holiday Park (formerly Seaview Holiday Village) by car, the Eden Project is the largest indoor rainforest in the world, and houses over 1 million plants. The Lost Gardens of Heligan
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are one of Britain's finest restorations - the once-thriving Heligan estate was lost for decades under a tangle of weeds and rediscovered only 30 years ago. Lose yourself in an exotic sub-tropical jungle, atmospheric Victorian pleasure grounds with mysterious sculptures to discover, animals to meet, a Burmese rope bridge and children’s play areas.
