Following the latest government’s announcement (on 31st October 2020) with the new lockdown restrictions; the drive-in fireworks listed below will not go ahead as planned; event organisers are looking to either bring their events forward or post-pone to a late date. Let’s get lit! Firework Displays Still happening around our parks.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, most firework displays have been cancelled this year… However, a few counties have followed the mantra ‘The show must go on!” with these fantastic Drive-In firework displays!

Devon

1. Westpoint, Exeter, Devon

Devon’s first ever drive-in firework display is happening in Westpoint, Exeter on Saturday the 7th of November.

The concept is simple… Grab your loved ones, buy a ticket for your car, park up in your own socially distanced parking space, and enjoy what will be one of the biggest and best fireworks displays in Devon. You can even enjoy hot food and drink from a range of delicious vendors. What’s not to love?!

Essex

Despite being in tier 2, Essex is home to not one, but FOUR firework displays this November.

1. Kings Farm, Chelmsford

Motorshow Events present ‘Drive-in Fireworks’ on the 7th and 8th of November at Kings Farm. Chelmsford.

Suitable for the whole family, the sky is set to explode in an array of colours, flashes, booms and sparkles. Once your parked up, take a wonder down to the delicious street-food trucks.

2. Weely Boot Sale Site, Clacton

The show must go on! SkyDrive-In have teamed up with Dynamic Fireworks to provide a spectacular firework show in the night sky on the 6th and 7th of November.

Again, there will be food and drink stalls to make the firework display even better!

3. Marsh Farm, South Woodham Ferrers.

Take your whole family along for fireworks, entertainment, funfair rides and shows, with one all-inclusive price at Marsh Farm.

The event runs from the 5th until the 7th of November, so you have three days to choose from!

4. Ardleigh Showground, Colchester

Skyrocket Drive-in fireworks display will take place on the Ardleigh Boot Sale ground on the 6th and 7th of November.

There will be food and drink stalls, toilet facilities and socially distanced parking. Perfect to watch the firework extravaganza safely!

Suffolk

1. Suffolk Show Ground, Trinity Park, Ipswich

Head to the Suffolk Show Ground for more than just a spectacular firework display on the 7th of November.

Once you park, you can order food and drink to be delivered to your car while you soak up the atmosphere of the live entertainment on their festival stage (yes, we said live entertainment!). Headlined by their special guests SClub and East-17 – you’ll be warmed up for the spectacular firework display lighting up the skies above Ipswich!

2. Sotterley Hall Estate, Suffolk

Explosive Solutions have organised three shows across two nights for residents around Suffolk, running on the 6th and 7th of November.

These fun, family friendly events will bring a unique and unforgettable Drive-In experience, as you watch the show set to an amazing soundtrack.

Hampshire

1. #lightupwinchester

At 7pm on Saturday 7th November, #LightUpWinchester will set off an epic firework display from 3 secret and private locations from across the city.

Their aim is to cover as much of Winchester in Fireworks as possible. It should be spectacular!

You can watch this from your gardens, on your street, or even in your car, all they ask is that you donate to their Community Fund to make a difference to people in Winchester.
