Devon is a great place to take a caravan holiday, and we've got plenty of holiday parks in Devon that are sure to give you a holiday which is perfect for you and your family. All five of our caravan parks are located on the south coast of the county, in the wonderful English Riviera.

Holiday parks in South Devon are particularly popular as the area around Torbay has its own microclimate. It's normally warmer and sunnier than the rest of the county, and, because it's on the coast, you can have sun, sea and sand all in one perfect holiday. We have Devon holiday parks in Dawlish Warren, which has one of the UK's best beaches just a few minutes walk from your accommodation, and in Torbay itself, allowing you to explore Paington, Brixham and Torquay, taking advantage of the microclimate and wonderful seaside resorts.

Torquay is famous for the palm trees that grow there, which wonderfully highlight the weather you can expect to greet you. There's also a healthy fishing fleet that leaves from Brixham each morning, and the fresh fish that you'll find in restaurants, cafes and pubs throughout the area is a big advantage for any lovers of sea food that visit these holiday parks.

Of course, our holidays offer you much more than fantastic coastline, and our Devon caravan parks are no different. A short drive inland will find you on Dartmoor National Park, which is a huge area of beautiful moorland, full of great walking routes and picnic spots. You can spend a day walking through some of the valleys between the large granite tors, then rest by a bubbling brook in a field scattered with large granite boulders. The landscape was formed when Dartmoor was still an active volcanic area, and it has the dramatic landscape that you might expect of somewhere created so spectacularly.

As for attractions, there are loads of them. More than you could possibly visit in one holiday, which is just one reason that you'll want to keep coming back. From our holiday parks in South Devon, you can easily reach Paignton Zoo and the Living Coast, two attractions that allow you to see some wonderful animals and learn a lot about the natural world, Crealy Adventure Park, which is great fun for any kids, the Ashcombe Adventure Centre, where you and your family can try out archery, shooting, paintball and more, and the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, which, along with the Dartmouth River Cruises, can be a wonderful way to explore one of Devon's most beautiful areas. That's just the tip of the iceberg too. That's loads to do around the area and you won't even get close to running out whilst on holiday here.

The coast is another great place to go exploring. South Devon's coast has plenty of walking routes that will take you along beaches, over cliffs and let you see some fantastic spots of Devon's coastline. If you're lucky, you might even spot some of the birds and wildlife that make their homes along the cliffs or cliff tops, once you get away from the towns.

As you can see, our holiday parks in Devon have a lot to offer, and you're sure to enjoy a stay with us in this beautiful county.
