Holiday Parks with Fishing Lakes

Coarse & Sea Angling

Whatever type of fishing you're looking for, we've got it covered!

Park Holidays UK have Caravan Holiday Parks across the South of England set in counties including Devon, Essex, Dorset, Kent, Hampshire, Suffolk and Sussex.

Many are set in beautiful locations close to the sea so sea fishing is available immediately from the edge of the park or nearby. In addition, many holiday parks have carp and coarse fishing either in lakes on the park, or rivers or lakes in the local area.

Some of our holiday parks have carp fishing lakes - with carp to well over 40lbs in one case. Others offer general coarse fishing, with occasional matches for you to test your skills.

Fishing Requirements

UK rod licenses are required wherever you fish on UK inland waterways.

Fishing in the lakes on any holiday park normally requires a day ticket to be purchased for a small price - details are available from each holiday park reception.

MORE ABOUT FISHING LICENCES

Devon Fishing

We have five South Devon Caravan Holiday Parks all close to the beaches for great sea fishing. Choose from Landscove & Riviera Bay , in Brixham, Waterside at Paignton or Golden Sands and Dawlish Sands at Dawlish Warren.

The South Devon coast offers good sea fishing for bass, mackerel, wrasse and other fish. The estuaries are great for mullet fishing - something coarse anglers often want to try out on a seaside holiday. If you want coarse fishing, Golden Sands has a small lake with carp, tench, roach, rudd and crucian carp. There is also good coarse fishing around the famous Tarka trail close to our Tarka Holiday Park in North Devon.

Dorset Fishing

Sandhills Holiday Park, Christchurch, Dorset lies next to Mudeford Quay by the Christchurch Harbour, with Avon Beach to the front - quite a setting! There's sea fishing from the front of the park, and harbour fishing for mullet and bass from the back.

It's just a short distance from the famous Rivers Hampshire Avon and Dorset Stour with fisheries such as The Royalty and Throop available on day tickets for coarse fishing for barbel and chub in particular. Carp fishing is also available nearby with day-ticket lakes.
