South coast holidaymakers offered shopping extravaganza in London

People staying at the caravan parks of the south can break away from their mobile accommodation and plentiful supply of entertainment and engage in a spot of retail therapy.

One potential destination is Westfield Stratford City, which is now the subject of a brand new website and Facebook competition to mark its opening.

Users of the social network have been invited to reinvent an East End classic – and possibly win up to £10,000 – while those wishing to browse what the mall has to offer can do so via its portal.

Myf Ryan, general manager of marketing at the complex, said: "The design of the website, with the use of real materials from the centre, reflects the offline experience of Westfield Stratford City."

To enjoy the shopping centre for real, a stay at a south coast caravan park – perhaps in Sussex or Kent – could be ideal.

London is already home to one Westfield development, which is located in Shepherd's Bush, in the west of the city.
