South coast holiday could provide easy access to London events
Tourists thinking of spending some time on the south coast of England this summer will find themselves ideally located for trips to London.
Jacqueline French, spokeswoman for London & Partners, explained they should be able to take advantage of such a situation by experiencing some of the country's greatest events and entertainment.
She noted there is "something for everyone" in the capital over the coming weeks, from the Carnaval Del Pueblo in Brockwell Park to the latest exhibitions at the National Gallery.
Other spots to meet with the expert's approval include the Victoria and Albert Museum, Notting Hill Carnival and the Royal Academy of Arts.
Ms French suggested there is also plenty of sport on show, stating: "From beach volleyball at Horse Guards Parade to the World Badminton Championships at Wembley ... there is a team for everyone to cheer on this summer."
Many of the sporting dates could be seen as a warm-up for the Olympic Games, which get underway in London on July 27th next year.
