Holiday in southern England for gladiatorial battle
A spectacular gladiatorial battle will be accessible to those holidaying in the south of England this summer.
The Museum of London has announced it is to host the Roman Gladiator Games on July 30th and 31st, which will be used to mark the start of the one-year countdown to the London Olympics.
A full-scale gladiator arena is set to be built at the attraction in the capital, while an amphitheatre will also be present.
Britannia, a company that specialises in Roman re-enactments, have been given the responsibility of organising the event, which could be reached from caravan parks in surrounding counties.
Each day of the function will feature two shows and bosses are promising plenty of blood and gore, as well as the chance to learn more about the spirit of gladiatorial conflict.
The Olympic Games kick off in London on July 27th next year and run for more than two weeks.
