A brand new addition to the ABI line up for 2011 are the Derwents. Two layouts are available with optional front french doors and spacious lounge areas that contain 2 and 3 seater sofas, (in the fixed front window version an upholstered storage/bench seat is included). The corner TV/display/storage area, fire surround, coffee table are all in the Romana Cherry finish, as is the free standing dining table and 4 chairs. The Derwents feature well appointed ‘U’ shaped kitchens complete with domestic style gas cooker and hood, a stainless steel sink/drainer and mixer tap plus space allowance for optional fridge/freezer and microwave.

All Derwent bedrooms provide large storage areas with upholstered headboards and overhead cupboards, bedside cabinets for that early morning cuppa, a dressing table, mirror and stool. The twin room complements the main bedroom and also incorporates a flexible single bed option. The centrally positioned bathroom incorporates a large enclosed shower with sliding door plus an attractive pedestal unit with inset washbasin, mirror and shelf.

Directions

  • From the M25, junction 28, take the A12 (signposted Colchester).
  • Continue forward onto the Colchester bypass, (signposted Colchester North, Ipswich, Harwich).
  • At junction 29 branch left (signposted Colchester North) then at the next take the second exit on to the A1232 (signposted Colchester).
  • Continue forward and straight across the first roundabout, at the second roundabout turn left on to the A133 (signposted Clacton).
  • Follow the A133 and cross over the next two roundabouts, then at the third roundabout turn right onto the B1028.
  • Take the left hand fork, the B1027 and follow signs for St Osyth, Brightlingsea.
  • Follow the B1027 through Arlesford and Thorrington and you will reach Oaklands Holiday Park on your left.
