Meet Martin and Pat - Alberta Owner

Martin and Pat talk about lifestyle on park and what holiday home ownership means to them.

"...We love the caravan life, we've got a apartment in Whitstable, but we've got a caravan 2 miles up the road. I think it's not really the caravans, it's the friends you make - and I think that's what it's all about down here, friendship."

Steeple Bay

"We have always wanted to own a holiday home and after enjoying caravan holidays when our children were young we decided to treat ourselves. It is an expensive thing to do but so worth it, having a peaceful retreat after a hectic week at work is wonderful. We also love being in the countryside and next to a river. We have made some good friends and hope we are able to afford many more years at Steeple Bay..."

Coghurst Hall

"Coghurst Hall Holiday Park is a very pretty site, with a well stocked lake for fishing. The owners, I have met are very friendly and it has a happy village like community. The staff are friendly and helpful most of the time. Pets are welcome, both dogs and cats, some owners have up to 2 dogs all with very friendly owners, thankfully, as my grandson loves dogs; so when he stays, we say hello to the dogs and he can stroke them lol. :-) It is a wonderful site to get away from it all, being out of the way and is surrounded by lanes. Hastings has an old town and busy shopping centre. Being a seaside town there is a lot to do. On site it has a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. a play area for children. A clubhouse a small supermarket and Launderette. Everything you need for a holiday and everything can be left here, so for weekends and long stays any time throughout the except for 2 weeks when the site closes, you can be in the countryside and enjoy walking fishing entertainment or just relaxing."

St Osyth Beach Holiday Park

"Michael, my lovely husband and I own a house in Colchester, unfortunately 2 years ago he was diagnosed with Altzimers. Holidays away from his usual environment became impossible because being out of his usual routine was confusing him greatly. As a boy he had spent many happy holidays with his parents in Jaywick, and we were often down at St Osyth walking our dog. So this Spring I decided to buy a caravan at St Osyth Beach, that decision was the best thing I could have done, Michael loves it, our pitch is in a nice quiet area,(most of the time) and the walks on the beach help him relax and reminisce. We are lucky enough to have spent at least 3 days every week this year at the van and although we haven't used the Club House yet hopefully next year he will feel ready to give it a try.Our very first year of caravan ownership has been a success here's to many more, thank you Park Holidays, thank you Antonia,Jo,and all the maintenance team,Thank You."

Felixstowe Testimonial

"Felixstowe itself is a pleasure: lovely beaches which stretch for miles, areas where rare sea birds can be spotted, bars, arcades and pool clubs for evening leisure and a clean and friendly town centre: all within 10 minutes of Felixstowe Beach holiday park. The plot we secured is ideal, providing a decent sized garden space to enjoy outside living (British weather permitting) and it's a joy to watch what birds might come to the feeder on a Sunday morning, backed up by a nice coffee and a newspaper to peruse. With an on site clubhouse providing the opportunity to socialise and be entertained by the various bands who visit, and a swimming pool to exercise off some of the calories consumed in the aforementioned clubhouse, holiday home ownership gives us a hassle free, relaxing place to get away from normal life. The increased efforts of the staff and the investment by the site owners means we now enjoy improved planting schemes and roads which make the site both more usable and more pleasing on the eye. The recent increase to an 11 1/2 month season just means we get to enjoy all these things for that little bit longer and it doesn't get much better than that!"

Seaview Testimonial

"We brought our caravan in June of this year, we visited lots of different parks in lots of areas and could not decide what we wanted or where we wanted our caravan. one weekend we decided to drive to Kent and came across Seaview Holiday park and decided to take a look round, at first we was only going to buy a second hand caravan, so looked at a lot of older vans, and then looked a the new ones and we were sold on a new van, the support and help we received from the sales team was so good they were helpful, knowledgeable and told us the pros and cons of buying a caravan which we found very helpful to help us make a decision, they told us about the local area and what there is to do. We liked the feel the site and felt very comfortable, so we brought a brand new 2014 model that day, we have enjoyed using our van and have also sublet this season to help us towards our ground rent, we have been very impressed with the site and the staff are always willing to help and support if they can and we have been to the office and sales people a lot this season as we was new to the site and wanted to learn all we could so a big thank you and we look forward to another could time next season."
