Snowdrop Weekend arrives at Exeter’s Killerton House
Those looking forward to the oncoming spring may be interested to hear about an event being planned at the glorious Killerton House in Broadclyst near Exeter. On the weekend of the 3 and 4 March, the grounds of the 18th century manor will be hosting a Snowdrop Weekend.
This special event will take visitors to the chapel that belonged to the estate and allow them to plant a snowdrop in its picturesque grounds as a dedication to someone close to their hearts. After spending some time in this tranquil setting, people enjoying the activity will be able to return to the main house and take in its opulent interiors and many other interesting features – including a summerhouse in which the pet bear of former Killerton owners the Acland family lived!
