Comedian Alan Davies to stop off in Bournemouth on brand new UK tour

Popular British comedian and television personality Alan Davies will return to stand-up comedy for the first time on British shores in more than a decade, stopping off to perform on the south coast as part of his UK tour.

Following a hugely successful tour of Australia in 2011, the QI star will bring his show Life Is Pain to the Pavilion Theatre & Ballroom in Bournemouth on Thursday 4 October.

Perhaps best known for starring in BBC mystery series Jonathan Creek, Davies can claim to be one of the more versatile comedians on the circuit, with the ability to write and act supplementing his obvious talent for comedy.

A permanent captain on long lasting comedy quiz show QI, Davies has even ventured into film, with a role in teen comedy film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
